Álvaro Noboa Pontón and the Luis A. Noboa Naranjo Museum, invite national and foreign photographers to participate in the IV International Biennial of Photography of Guayaquil “Álvaro Noboa Pontón” Grand Prize with the theme “Women in the XXI century” to be held from Thursday, April 28 to Friday, May 27, 2022.
This Biennial is aimed at all photographers in the world.
National and foreign participants must send their digital photograph in JPEG with 300dpi, along with the registration date through a download link (WeTransfer, Dropbox, OneDrive … etc.) to the email: Museolann@hotmail.com
The museum will make the prints and frames of the works of foreigners.
Only national participants, who are chosen, will be notified and must deliver the Photograph Printed on wood (altarpiece) in 60 x 40cm, or 60cm on its longest side, at P.icaza 302 and Córdova, Seguros Cóndor 1st floor building.
The deadline for delivery of the printed photographs of the national participants will be Friday, April 15, 2022 until 8:00 p.m.
The photograph must be unpublished and the subject is “Women in the XXI century”
In the mail and behind the printed photo you must include:
• Full name
• ID or passport number
• Email
• Telephone or cellphone number
• Title, comment or reflection from the author
The photographs will be evaluated by recognized professionals in the field of photography, on April 18, 2022.
On Thursday, April 28, the day the biennial opens, the winners of the contest will be announced.
• The first prize will be: $ 3,000 dollars
• Second prize $ 1,000 dollars
• Third (audience award) $ 500
The awards may not be declared void and any unforeseen event will be resolved by the lawyer Pablo Martínez Rojas, director of the museum.
The winning works will become part of the heritage of the institution.
The authors of the winning photographs will be notified by email and announced to the public through the museum’s website www.museoluisnoboanaranjo.com, and on all our social networks.
The verdict will be final
The photographs will be disqualified, without notice, or place for any appeal, in the following cases:
• Images created by software
• Images published in written or digital media
• Photographs that have already been part of other contests
• Images that show captions or brands that can be interpreted as advertising
