“National artistic expressions will be in the Guayaquil Biennial”
A group of Panamanian artists will participate in the VI Guayaquil International Painting Biennial “Álvaro Noboa Pontón”, to be held from April 26 to May 28.
The painters who will be in Ecuador representing the isthmus are Aristides Ureña Ramos, Octavio Arosemena, Guillermo Meza, Tabo Toral, Roosevelt Díaz, Elsy Acosta and Henry Bellido.
The Biennial, which is being held by the Luis A. Noboa Naranjo Museum, has water as its general theme.
The organizers of this event have invited the teacher Aristides Ureña Ramos, “recognizing the high spirit of his contribution to artistic and cultural activities at the international level, choosing him from the shortlist to form the Admission and Awards Jury, having planned his stay from the 20 to April 28 of the present ”.
Ureña Ramos, together with Patricia Ku Moosee, curator of the participation of six Isthmian artists, will present a series of initiatives in the southern country.
